Traditional English Longbows can come in various different guises: They can be Self bows (Bows made from one single piece of wood) or Laminate bows (Bows made up of different wood laminations); they can be Full Compass bows (bending through the whole length of the bow) or they can be made to have a stiff handle area and only the limbs bend (Victorian-style); they can have handles or no handle at all; some can be made with a reflex in the tips and others made with a deflex and then a reflex (Renaissance). All can be classed as traditional English Longbows. Here at DIY ARCHERY we cover various designs of longbow which can be seen by clicking on the different links under the traditional bows secton. We hope you enjoy browsing through our range of Longbows.
